200 degrees because there was no cooldown and we stopped and idled right after... 200 isn't a danger zone for me, and does not affect my performance much since the ethanol brings it down to 185 at WOT. I know you don't know too much about performance tuning, but maybe you can understand if I break it down like this. My only issue with john was spinning like crazy in 2nd gear because I fucked up and had my T/C off, in high boost, with spool assist off. I lost, and am not ashamed to admit it. His shit is fantasticly fast, and I fucked up. It's not an excuse... I didn't ask for a rematch because I am not scared of losing. I fucked up, and that was that.

I just hope you don't float another valve with those stock valve springs and headers because I don't want your car to break. John wasn't pulling hard on me at 100mph, and I was only on 15psi at redline. You need to learn some shit, because if you don't spray, you are going to get smoked.

I am having a blast here, and if you are really so silly that you can't have fun with this, I will stop.

Nick, just FYI. Unless you can hang w/ me you will loose to Tommy short of something going wrong on his end again. He had me by a fender at about 100. I was gaining, but not very fast. I don't know if I would have caught him or not and I was running 9.4 on him. Not saying you CAN'T beat him or anything, but wanted you to be informed of everything b/c you have to remember it's his call on the races and if he chooses all digs he's gonna murder you. Rolls will be better for you, but like I said unless you find another 50 some whp in that tune you'll probably still not do it.

I could be wrong though.

Have you been reading what I posted John? I am going from 15ish psi at redline to 20+ and there is way more than 50whp there. If I make it to 25 at redline without maxing the injectors I will be in the 475-500 range. Right now I am around 350 :(

Yeah, the admins still need to switch joker and reaper and put the integra up.

I told tommy it was heat, and if I knew he was spraying on john I would have told him the fuel jet was clogged or fuel pump was maxed out, but I didn't know he was spraying.

This is going to be fun, even from a dig.

You were spraying in the higher gears, right when detonation destroyed those valves and plugs. I suggest you pull the other head if you haven't and fix that fuel system sir.

I didn't see you pull the fuel rail, and wasn't looking for it. Fact is, whoever dropped off the head told the machine shop that he was spraying "in the higher gears."

Makes since now, and I wonder why he is running stock plugs and melting them? And I wonder who thought stock valve spring rates would be fine for that big cam. Was the nitrous tuned on a hamster wheel?

I might even lose. I'm just not going to be sore about it if I do. John KNOWS I don't mind losing. I knew he could beat me, I was only aiming to put in him high boost to do it, but for a variety of reasons (the main one being that fucking z car is badass silly fucking fast) I lost.

I keep tweaking my tune to try to get the VE map looking more reasonable (aka, not 92% volumetric efficiency at 20psi and redline) and now I've untuned my top end pretty badly while reshaping the VE map. It will be ready before Tommy is, and at the very least, he is going to have to spray to keep up.

15psi and no spray. now: 21psi until the new MAP sensor gets here and probably 20 up to 25 at redline. 25 shot spool assist and 25 shot hot button, 25 up to 30psi at redline scramble mode is the goal on the new MAP sensor.

I don't run straight PSI, I ramp up my PSI twards redline for more top end power without putting down too much torque in my short shift gears.

And as you well know, psi don't mean shit. It's all about flow. That is why John is making 400-425whp with 8.5psi, cause twin turbos flow tons of air.

R/T gets added in though, IIRC, darlington doesn't add it in automatically for grudge races, and since there isn't a good line at the 1/8th AFAIK, we are going to have to add RT to the ET. Otherwise there is no reason to even run side by side.
