Dynoed the G/F's Cobalt SS/TC

Well we had a dyno day down here in Charleston at LS1powertuning and she decided to let me throw it on the rollers. The car is BONE stock with a K&N filter and 15k miles on it. Anyone here care to guess what it made before I post the dyno graph later tonight?

what year car? I've seen a new turbo one with just a tune put down 285/300 or something. If its a new one I'll say 255/270

edit..nevermind just saw the ss/tc. sticking with my numbers though

the horsepower numbers are in line with a stock 99-04 mustang, although torque is a bit lower though. sweet numbers

275/278 is a stock 99-04 stang power...i thought yours put down 240 or something before s/c

haha oh didnt see that. the nitrous on the IC just went into the intake. at least whats what happen on the srt's that had IC sprayers. Picked up power bc it sucked up the nitrous.

the nitrous didnt go into the intake, it was sprayed directly onto the intercooler he said. dropped the intake temps by chilling the intercooler= gobs more power.

yea I know, but it's a gas. People did that on srt-4's and they were getting power gains like that because it was making it to the intake. People stopped using IC sprayers on my car for that reason, i dunno if its the same here but gaining 30-40 whp from just spraying the IC? im willing to be some got into the intake.

I am still up in the air about modding it though because she goes to USC and I would hate to have it go in for warranty work in cola and get voided. I have the hook up in Chas. so that would not be an issue, I did work at Hendrick chevy for two years. We will see how it turns out.

yea understandable about modding it. nice that a tune gets you 300/330 though...I need to do a boost leak check and see if I can gain a bit more. Most people with 300 whp stock turbo srt's only have like 320 tq...im at 358. And they are on dynojets not mustang's...hmmm..

I will second that when you spray the intercooler with nitrous some makes it to the intake. People that were spraying it with Co2 were noticing a power loss from the Co2 making it into the intake.
