Cam'd C6z06 vs. 1st gen CTS-V

I was leaving myrtle a couple of weeks ago and i was on Hwy 9 when I noticed this first gen CTS-V following me. I was talking on the phone at the time and he pulls up next to me at the light.

I was paying more attention to my phone call than racing this guy in this area, but light turns green and he busts me out by a car length or two. I reeled him in at the top of 2nd (80mph) and put about two carlengths on him after that. I just lifted off the gas and let him pull up beside me and he gave me a thumbs up. :thumb:

Anybody run into this guy before. Its black with dark tinted windows..

If so, that car is pretty damn sick. He was messing around with me on 544 one day, but I wouldn't bite. Too damn congested.

I don't know that guy but be careful if you ever see a light blue one. H/C/I 6spd and maybe spray, I don't remember, but the bitch is bad.

well i think there is one around a black one with an ls7 swap i have heard.....but ya know how people talk....but i have been next to a black one with exhuast and it sounded different and amazing at that.. and it was rollin with a few z06s i was like NICE to bad i wasnt in burg i was in the Z :( admired gave them the respectful hand wave and went about my business haha

Had a black one do that to me on Carolina Forest Blvd @ the light @ Postal Way heading towards River Oaks Dr. He got me @ the light-pulled about 2 cars on me by the time I realized what was happening and made him feel bad out of 3rd gear going into 4th. He fell in behind me and I turned off to my development. He honked. Dont know if it was the same one or not. I generally make it a practice not to street race, but this one happened real fast and I just reacted.

Must not be the one. It was pretty quiet. I couldn't see inside the car at all due to the heavy tinted windows..

don't really know. I pretty much gave him almost 2 carlength headstart and had to chase him down for the WIN. All he heard with a blue locomotive coming for him.. :)

the cts-v are ls6 motors they make good power at the wheels but there real heavy. Tick performance done one that made around 450rwhp but it only ran 8.10 in an 1/8. they60' real well.
