I may try to go next weekend. I'm itching to get on the track again.
Your launch is KILLING your times. Rev that bitch up and let it fly. If you're worried about breaking something then slip the clutch jussst a bit until you get rolling and let it drop. As of now, you're launching like a girl...:D
Seriously, 2.3 60' in an AWD turbo car is bad son.
There's also a little room for improvement in your shifting. Just practice rowing through the gears as quick as you comfortably can. Don't think about changing gears, just do it. Once you think about it, you screw up or slow down.
What mods do you have? Sounds good.

Yeah my launch is killing me but im starting to work on it :)
My shifting on the track is improving i was getting wheelspin on some of my shifts so i was trying to keep it smooth.
As of now i have intake, exhaust, O2 housing, IC piping, light tune, and a pretty shift knob lol
Let me know if anyone wants to come out 'cause there were literally no cars i could run with there yesterday, some bikes and a nice group of drag cars but nothing i could touch.

What RPM are you launching at now?
As far as the shifting, don't sweat a little spin between shifts on your car. The AWD will keep things in line. At most it's probably a tire or maybe two you're breaking loose, but I doubt you are spinning all 4 between shifts.
Not too bad on mods. You definitely have room to bring your time down. If you can launch it with a sub 2.0 60' (once you get it down, that's probably easily attainable), your E.T. will drop tremendously.

30 lbs?? haha...maybe 30 lbs on e85 or 110 oct+...& I still wouldn't do that on stock head studs...Highest I went on pump gas was 25 lbs on pump gas (93) & stock head studs...I ran a 12.001 @ 116.5 in a 6 spd...Launch limiter/2 Step was set to 6k...

Dude...you really need to work on your 60 fts....The owner before you, Brian, ran a 13.2 @ Darlington & that was with stock exhaust & clutch...There should be no reason you can cut a high 1.8 or 1.9 60 ft with what is done to the car & run mid to high 8s in the 8th easy...

yeah had to be running meth...or maybe he wasn't & that is why it broke every week...I have never run Meth. in my car & have yet to run race gas...but a race gas tune will be very soon for my new setup...

The thing does have a 2 step on it, i've just gotta work on launching off that. It's set to 6k and i launched off it a couple of times sunday and spun a few wheels each time, i'm working my way up to it thought and once i do my 60' will drop like a rock

Spinning is fine...keep the gas pedal down...it will grip eventually...trust me...if its hoping let off but if it'd spinning let her rip...

Thx fellas! Yeah i finally manned up and was going off the 2 step lol first time was a little shakey, sort of a practice, then second was 8.6 @ 83.2, 60' @2.09, then i went up against a drag-prepped F150 and hit the 8.3. Truck won btw, by about .2 sec haha

Yeah! it was a mid-90s F150 with huge drag slicks and i think the guy said a "three-oh-five" motor? Don't quote me on that (i'm not very knowledgable in V8s) but it was fast. After the pass the guy got out and was stunned i had kept up so well lol

Why don't you have a 2 step? I have a few friends with EVOs and I know the tuning software is free so all you need is a laptop and a tactrix cable. It's quite a fun feeling to leave the line like that.
