I've seen a lot of 650+hp cars that can't break into the 12's. I've seen well set-up 400 hp cars break into the 10's. Anybody who will take on ANY challanger either won't race for money or hasn't done much racing. There are a lot of cars that are street driven I wouldn't race because I know I'd lose. (example would be Pat Musi's car when it has plates on it). I'm not stupid enough to give my money away so I don't "take on anyone" I also don't drag my car out to risk my "Mexican" drivers licence for fun either. Whats really bad is when the car you have invested 80K into gets dusted off by a 15K junker. Be very careful because if that happens you will end up so embarassed you will move on the the next site because you will never live it down. The good thing about having a low buck car is you don't hype it up so when you do get outrun you keep you dignity and just lose a few bucks.
